Welcome to a painting course with the internationally known artist, Allan Madsen. His artistry is inspired by both traditional and modern art.

The course is open for novices as well as more seasoned painters. You'll be staying at Sahlströmsgårdens hotel where every meal will be a feast.

"My painting courses are focused on both the technical aspect as well as the creative process. With the technical aspect I want to share knowledge on how to mix colors, how to apply them to the canvas with either a brush or a palette knife and how you mix colors with different materials like modelling paste. With the creative process I talk about where ideas and inspiration originate from and how ideas develop into a personal style or imagery. I don't teach a specific style of painting as I believe that art is always personal and individual. What I try to do is to convey a method and understanding for painting, to then be able to create an individual style. My own imagery is a mix of both traditional and modern painting."
